Well it finally rained!! We were so excited so we got the kids jackets on and let them play in the rain. The older two were off at other friends houses. Makenzie was having fun chasing her shoes down the gutter.

Happy 3rd Birthday Tyson!!
Happy Birthday Tyson!! Tyson is 3 and I can't believe it. He is so grown up. Tyson brings a lot of laughter to our house. He loves the joke that his sisters and the Evans girls taught him. "What comes after X?" "Y" "because I want to know!!" Sometimes he'll just say that to you and he really gets into the ending. He loves to ride his stick horses, play with horses, and ride Shorty!! He was so excited to have Shaylee and Brighton there to celebrate too!! We miss them. He had a horse cake for his birthday and had a great day!! WE love you little cowboy!
Baseball 2008
It's almost over!! It has been a lot of fun but a lot of work. We love to watch baseball. We missed out on Sawyers pictures though. Their Varsity and JV had some ineligable players and so the rest of the JV games were canceled and I had waited until the end of the season to take pictures so I was out of luck. It was fun to go watch him play though. Drake and Sierra had a lot of fun this year!! They both did very well and improved a lot. Sierra is catching a lot better and hitting well too. Drake enjoyed playing short stop and also was a great relief pitcher. Tyson and Makenzie had fun playing at the park with all the kids running around too. Tyson usually just wanted us to pitch to him and play ball with him while the games were going on. Makenzie liked Drake's games better because they were at the park. Fun Fun!!

Our Littlest Cowboy!!
Tyson is so fun!! He is in a stage right now that he wants to dress himself and always wants his boots and hat on. He wants to ride Shorty every day and asks every night "Mom, can I ride Shorty on 'tursday'?". He loves to build "cages" for his horses with blocks or what ever his little mind decides. Tonight he decided to build it out of pillows off the couch. The other pictures are just of his cute little outfit that he loves to wear and one of when he was pouting because he didn't get his way. What a cute little cowboy!!

My Sweet Mother-in-law

Thank you for teaching and raising such a WONDERFUL SON. I couldn't ask for anything more. He is a wonderful husband and father.
Thank you for being there when we need a Grandma to babysit. You are always so willing and love to have the kids and always have something FUN for them to do. They love to come to grandma's house.
I watch and learn from you each day and admire your DEDICATION to your husband and family. The kids love to have you be their biggest and best fan at their games. Thanks for all you do for us and the example you set for us all. I Love you and we all love you!! Happy Mother's Day!!

My Wonderful Mother
WOW!! That is my first word about my mom. It amazes me more and more each day how much she has done to raise all of us kids. Being a mom now helps me to be more and more grateful for the WONDERFUL job that she has done.
She is and ALWAYS was THERE for us. She is always looking for ways to help and never says no. She is aware of each of our families and our needs. She always says to me, I wish I could do more for you. I feel bad that I'm so far away. I love her for that and know that she would do anything for us.
Wonderful GRANDMA!! She is always checking in on the kids and wondering how things are going. She always seems to have a little something for them when she comes or when we go to visit. The kids want to go to Heber City all of the time and Makenzie even thought that she lived there once because we all get to sleep over.
As I look back I did a little bit of everything and my parents seem to never miss anything. She SUPPORTed me in whatever I did and put countless hours into sewing costumes, making treats, decorating lockers, etc. She always had her foot in whatever we were all doing and was always helping out.
Mom will say different but I really don't remember her yelling much or getting mad. If she did I think we didn't take her serious. She had to have a lot of PATIENCE raising 8 kids and a husband.
She is always COOKING and cleaning. She always cooked from scratch to feed us and was always up early making a whole lot of lunches for school each morning while dad cooked breakfast. After cooking she'd just get all the mess cleaned up and it was time to start again. She was always canning something. Now out on my own I realize just how much work that really is. But I crave all that stuff that we grew up on.
I have to work on this one a little more.
Mom you taught me the importance of teaching the GOSPEL in the HOME. Of course remember scripture study each morning and FHE each week. What a wonderful example that sets for us all to carry on with our own families. I would she her reading her scriptures and saying her prayers and that was a great example for me.
Her wonderful example of SERVING OTHERS by countless numbers of meals, watching kids, volunteering, church callings, and everything else is a wonderful lesson I also learned from her.
There is so much more that I could write but most of all mom thank you for being you and doing what you do best being a mom and grandma. Thank you!! I Love You MOM!! We all love you so much. Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy 5th Birthday Makenzie!!!
Makenzie is 5 years old now. She had her first friend party and it was a lot of fun. We had about 25 kids so it was crazy. We had the water slide up and she wanted to play freeze dance and have a pinata so that is what we did. She has a lot of cute little friends and lots of great family. Thanks you all for helping her celebrate her birthday!! Happy Birthday Makenzie!! We love you!

May Day Dance
We had another great May day dance. The kids look foward to this every year and we have a great time watching and laughing. Sierra danced to "Move it, Move it". She was voted the best girl dancer for her class and got a big candy bar. She had the cutest shoulder bounces. Drake did an awesome square dance. He was all decked out and did a great job swinging his girl.
