11 yr old Camp Out

Steve, Drake and I had a great time at the 11 yr old camp out. It was a lot of fun and I was glad I got to go too. The stake primary oversees it and makes the dinner and lunch for them. It is such and awesome program. The theme is "Becoming a Knight". The first night they had different stations where they learned about different things and tied everything into the scriptures. At one they talked about the Armor of God and tried on armor. Another was about becoming a knight and they jousted off a bike. Another was about the Banner of Righteousness. They learned about the flag, how to take care of it, symbols on it and then learned about Moroni's banner. They then watch a movie about the Armor of God and close with a speaker. It really is an amazing program. I got to go home to sleep and the boys endured a windy night. The tent help up though. The next day they did 5 different stations to help pass of merit badges. They then had a final battle. That is an awesome part. They do a little at each station again and then head to another group of stations where a lot of teamwork and thinking is required. It was a lot of fun to watch and the boys had a great time. Drake had a lot of fun with all his friends and his dad.

Piano Recital

Sierra and Makenzie had a piano recital. They had a movie night theme. Sierra played Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Makenzie play Yankee Doodle. It was a lot of fun and the girls did great!!

Arrow of Light

Awesome work Drake!!! Drake received his Arrow of Light. He worked very hard even though he was busy and got it all done. He is a very dedicated boy and we are very proud of him. He also got to participate is a merit badge pow wow. His new scout leader said he was very impressed with Drake and his hard work. His was the only one in his group to get all his stuff done, signed and turned in. Good Work!!
