TWINS!!

No it is not me it was my sister!! Tracie, Dave and Taylor added Drew and Lana on May 25th. Steve's birthday! We went up to visit the second weekend in June and it didn't even look like she had had one baby let alone twins. She looks great!! Way to go Tracie!! They are so cute!! We had a lot of fun enjoying the cool, rainy weather. It rained every afternoon. It was beautiful. We had a lot of fun. Saturday some of us went the the High School Rodeo Finals, then Sunday we went to Sara's birthday dinner at her house and then stayed at Aunt Stacey's and had a short visit with the Marshall and Staheli cousins. Then on Monday we went to the Kamas rec center and enjoyed swimming. Then headed to Amy's for a barbecue and smores. Then on the way home Tuesday we went to Aunt Carrie's and she watched the kids while I got the car fixed. Everyone is so nice to come and visit and have yet another Draper get together. Thanks to all for taking the time to hang with us. You are the best!! We love you all and miss you too!!

Mary's 60th Birthday

I can't believe we didn't torture Mary with some crazy party for here 60th. I kinda forgot it was a big one. We all got together at the Adam's to swim, eat, have cake, and presents. The kids had fun swimming and entertaining us all. We are so blessed and lucky to have family so close. It was important to us and that is one of the reasons we are here and what a blessing they are to us. Thank you Mary for being a wonderful grandma and mom. We appreciate you and all you do.

Midnight Fishing

Steve had gone out fishing with the Elder's Quorum about a week ago and caught a fish almost every cast. He wanted to take the kids out and we kept putting it off because of the windy weather and our busy schedule. Finally we just went one night at 9:00 at night. We had a good time. We didn't catch as many fish but all the kids caught a few and Tyson even put in his own line and caught one on his Spiderman pole. We stayed out until 3 and needless to say we were all tired and Steve had to go to work the next morning. What we do for kids and fun!

Red Rock

Another day we were to be in Lake Powell, we took the kids out to red rock. We haven't been there in a long time and the kids had a blast. They rode, got stuck, rode, and got stuck some more. We needed paddles. Steve took the bravest little Makenzie on a wild ride in the Rhino and the tortured me as I scream the whole time for my turn. I'm not so brave anymore. Grandpa, grandma, Shaylee and Brighton came too!! We had a lot of fun it even rained and was cold for a little while.

We took a day that we were supposed to be in Lake Powell and took the kids bowling. We had a great time. Yes, of course Steve couldn't loose and took the title yet again. I wasclose behind though and almost took the lead. Sawyer, needs a little work on his form and Drake gave up and went to the bumpers with Sierra, Makenzie and Tyson. We had a lot of fun!! Nice work Steve. Maybe I'll have the title next time.

SOUTH KOREA

Drake chose to do his country report on South Korea. He looked at our ward missionary list and saw who was coming home soon and chose Chase Doty. Elder Doty was awesome and helped Drake out by coming over and answering questions, bringing home candy to hand out and supplying Drake with lots of stuff to display. The fourth graders take 3 days and show off their work. First, they dress in costume and do a musical program and dancing. (Yes, my 4-h sewing and lessons from mom came in handy the night before!!) Second, they all set up tables in the halls of the school and the classes and visitors come through and ask them questions. And the last day they all bring a food from their country and the 4th graders get to try them all. Drake made Summer Kimchi. Not to many wanted to try his and I don't blame them. It was a lot of fun to watch him and enjoy this time with him. Nice work Drake!!

Tyson's 4 (my baby)

I can not believe that he if four and look how big he looks on his bike and even giving the "peace out" sign. He had a wonderful birthday and it was a long 3 days after we sung to him in primary on Sunday. He was so excited to get his treat and poster at church he went around telling everyone "Today's my birthday". Then every morning he'd wake up asking if it was his birthday and when I would tell him no he would break into tears. He is still carrying on about his birthday. Just yesterday while at the store he said I couldn't pick something out because it was his birthday and you couldn't decide if it wasn't your birthday. I was in big trouble with the look he gave me. So funny. A few words and sayings that I think describe Tyson are:

FUNNY
LOVING
ATHLETIC loves baseball and riding his bike
GREEN favorite color
Is it hot today mom? Yes, Tyson. Aghh! I want to wear my COWBOY PANTS!!
SWEET

Memory Lane

Well we had a little modeling show. Sierra is getting ready to be baptized in a few months and I wanted to use my wedding dress to make her a dress. My sister Amy and I shared the dress and she graciously let us cut it up. So here are a few pictures we took before the day the lady came to take the dress away to be cut up. It was fun Makenzie especially liked it. The lady said with that train we could make a few dresses. What beautiful brides to be!! Thankfully that is a many years away!!
