Sierra's Baptism

We are so proud of you Sierra and the decision you made to be baptized. You have so many people who love and support you. They will always be there for you but most importantly your Heavenly Father will be there for you and the Holy Ghost will be your companion. Always remember that. We love you and are so proud of you. We had a wonderful weekend with friends and family. Thank you all for coming and supporting Sierra and our family at this very special time. We have such wonderful extended family. We had a lot of fun. Some of the fun things were: zoo in Moapa, the fun slide into the pool, rock band, reservoir swim, neighborhood motels, and swimming at the Adams pool. Thank you to those who helped this wonderful weekend happen.

Grandparents Week

Well after our family reunion my parents kept all the kids that are in school and had them stay for the week. They have a few days that they take all the grandkids that went to school that year and do some fun things with them. This year they went bowling, ski diving, and hiking. They also went to the Hill Air Force Museum and to the carnival at the county fair. They also went to there favorite place to eat CHUCKARAMA!! The kids had a lot of fun and they brought them home for Sierra's baptism and so we didn't even have to make an extra trip at all. Thanks Dad and Mom for having fun with the kids and for being a great example. We love you!!!

Moapa ZOO

I haven't made it there but the kids went with Shelley for part of Shaylee's birthday party. They had a great time and loved it. It is a hands on Zoo so they really get to touch and hold things. The held an otter, pet a porqupine, kangoroos, monkeys, all kinds of fun animals. Maybe one day I'll get there. Thanks Shelley for taking the kids they had a blast!!

Draper Reunion 2009

We had a great time camping with the family above the Alta ski resort. Dave and Tracie did an awesome job planning this get together and we had a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed camping in a tent even though Steve and I stayed up one night trying to keep Sawyer dry and then hiding ourselves from the dripping rain. We enjoyed the fire building, cart making and eating contest, and especially the dutch oven cook off. We thought for sure that we would be the winners on the cart contest with Sawyer helping to build but Steve and I couldn't do it. I'm a slow eater I guess. Lots of laughs and lots of great memories. The family pictures turned out great! Thanks Amy and Angie.

Primary Pioneer Activity

We had a great pioneer primary water activity. We had 3 stations and told a little story about the pioneers and related it to the activity. We had a great turnout and everyone seemed to have lot of fun!!

Sierra's 8th Birthday

I can't believe she is 8!!! She has been so excited to turn eight and has been planning her baptism for a while. Sierra is so sweet and such a caring, loving young girl. She always wants to help, loves babies, loves responsibility, works hard, and loves to play. She has been a spit fire since the day she was born and has always had a set of lungs on her and showed her emotions well. We love her so much and love her sweet notes and not so sweet notes that helps her to express her feelings. What a sweety!! Happy Birthday Sierra!!

She wanted to have a party and I never plan until the minute before. We did phone call invitations and had a great time. I know maybe it is just that I'm lazy. We all had a great time though. It was overcast and even rained before, during and after the party. We love rain and enjoyed it. They played water volleyball, water high jump, bobbed for apples, ate, and played and played. We had a great time. She has a wonderful group of friends!!

LAKE

We have gone to the lake a few times but I keep forgetting the camera. I took the camera this time but it got dark when we started to wake board, but I did get some pictures of Sawyer trying to chase the Burrow to ride him. Sierra tried and had to work through her fear and emotions. She tried quite a few times and will have it by the end of the summer. Sawyer and Drake both went too but it was pretty dark. We had a lot of fun.

Heber - Sara's Baptism & Drew & Lana's Blessings

We made it up to Heber Friday afternoon and enjoyed the cool weather. Saturday morning we headed to Sara's baptism. She is so sweet and we were so glad we could be there for her special day. We had a great brunch and played at the park and it even rained. We then went with Bramhalls and the boys to the dinosaur museum. It is the largest in the US or world I'm not sure. It was a lot of fun and we spent a lot of time there. They girls all spent the night at Uncle Cody's and Aunt Natalie's and went to the movie. We then headed back to Heber and went to Wallsburg and the kids rode the 4 wheelers around all afternoon. Then Sunday morning we headed to Lehi for the baby blessings and enjoyed the afternoon with the Bramhalls. They are amazing and seemed to have adjusted to having three with no problems. I'm sure it is a lot more difficult than we see though. What great familys and what special times. Monday we went to the Hogle Zoo and the kids had a lot of fun. Lesa and her kids, Tracie and her kids, and Grandma all came too. We then headed back to the heat and home.

Camping on the Blouder Moutain

We decided to do a little camping on the Boulder Mtn. on the way to Heber. We had a little scare when we got out to fill the trailer up with water before heading up the mountain. Our hitch had loosened and was very scary looking. Hard to explain and I can't find the pictures, but lets just say we said a pray as a family for getting there safe and sound. We did end up camping and had a great time. Steve seemed to be fixing all the toys while we were there and I told him that was the price of having them. We did a lot of hiking to little lakes and ponds. Steve told Drake he would pay him $20 to swim to the middle and back of on pond and he did. Those pictures are on Steve's phone. Funny!! In his underwear!! Another lake we went fishing to and a guy had told us to be careful because there had been bears around there. The kids were all nervous and I showed the girls how you could just hit two sticks together to keep bears away. (I didn't remember it was cougars until I watched Parent Trap with the kids when we got home.) It worked great though and we had some good laughs. We did not catch a fish but had fun keeping bears away. We took lots of Rhino rides and the kids rode and rode on the 4-wheelers. Then we headed down, which was a little scary, but we made it safely and stayed the night in Panguitch while we had the hitch welded. We met up with Grandpa and Grandma after they were done shoeing horsed on Parowan and they took the trailer to Beaver for us. We went and saw the Evans family at Panguitch lake and watched the fire helicopter suck water out of the lake. Then we headed for Heber. It was beautiful and FUN!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

Well I'm to July now hurray!! What an awesome blessing to live in this free country. We are so thankful for those who sacrifice their time and their lives for our freedom. THANK YOU and we support YOU and PRAY for YOU!! We had a fun 4th of July. The kids got bags full of candy, got wet and got me wet. We had yummy watermelon and snow cones. We then went swimming and barbecued at the Adams pool. Then we headed up to the fireworks and they were awesome!! They do such a great job with the fireworks and the music. Then we finished off the night with fireworks at Grandpa & Grandma's.

Happy Father's Day

I know it is late, but better late than never. THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD. Steve is such a wonderful dad. The kids love to have dad come home because it is play time. He is always involved and there for the kids. He is also a great husband to me. He is always helping out around the house and works so hard so that we can play hard. Thank you for being a wonderful husband and dad.

Sierra's Clogging Recital in VEGAS

Sierra loves to clog and perform. It is a lot of fun watching her and she had a great time in the spotlight and it was a production with fancy Vegas lights and all. That is why the pictures are all funky the lighting was crazy. She can't wait for it to start again.

Makenzie's Program and Last Day of School

Makenzie's kindergarten class had a little program on the last day of school and she had a lot of fun. She smiled big and sang her little heart out. She loved her teacher Mrs. Cameron and her Grandma helper "Grandma Marlene". She is growing up so fast and I can't believe she is going to first grade next year. Great Job Makenzie!!
