CLARK COUNTY FAIR

We had a great time at the fair this year!! Here are the highlights.
1. Steve and I split up and went with Drake and Sierra's school classes on Thursday. We had a lot of fun.
2. Watching the monkey show twice with all the Staheli, Adams and Hough cousins and grandma.
3. Watching Sierra sing beautifully with the choir.
4. Makenzie being scared to death in the safety house. There is a pretend fire and smoke and you have to find your way out. Isn't dad a fire fighter?
5. Riding all the rides with cousins and getting Drake to go on the zipper.
6. Watching the pig races a few times of course.
7. Funnel cakes and more funnel cakes but you have to get them at the right one and that is the expensive one.
8. Watching Sierra and Drake do the bungee jumping. Steve is the good picture taker.
9. Going to the rodeo with all the cousins and Sawyer and watching Steve and Grandpa win the team roping and get big belt buckles. Great job!!

GRANDPA, GRANDMA, & COUSINS!!

We had so much fun when Grandpa and Grandma came to visit. The kids were so excited to see them. Sierra's teacher says that she kept asking how much longer until school got out because her Grandpa and Grandma and cousins were coming and she was so excited. Drake and Sierra got to have them watch them play baseball and they were excited about that. Then we came home and just enjoyed the warm weather. We listened to conference and gave dad a lesson on TIVO (is that how it is spelled). It was a cool experience to be a part of the solemn assembly. We then put up the slide and had a little water fight. The kids were having a great time and of course so was grandpa!! He even tried to use grandma as a shield. It did end tragically as grandpa took a blow to the head from a bucket that Drake regrettably threw. I was busy getting after Drake and then we all looked over and grandpa had a lot of blood running down his head, face, and dripping all over. He got a pretty good cut to the head and so we had to try to fix with liquid band-aid because of his hair. It was pretty intense. Poor Drake is taking after the Draper side, play rough and hard until someone gets hurt. Well, then we headed up to St. George to watch Ashleigh dance at her competition. She did great and I wish I had a few pictures. They came down on Thursday night so the kids had a sleepover and then with them and missed school on Friday and went swimming to the Adams' pool with Aunt Shelley too. So we had all kinds of family visiting. After the dance competition we headed over to go bowling. Grandpa was the big winner and I don't think he used the bumpers to many times. We watched conference on Sunday and enjoyed playing conference bingo. We had a lot of fun this week. We love to have family visit. The kids get so excited. We love you all!!

IT'S A POTTY PARTY

HURRAY!! Tyson finally decided to be a big boy. Chucky Cheese was a great motivator and also letting him go outside. It has carried over to public places though as you can see in the pictures. This was during spring break and the kids were so excited to go. We all had a great time. We did forget the camera but Steve ran to WalMart and got a disposable one. Thanks for the great pictures Steve!! Tyson great job!! We had a lot of fun celebrating with you.

Wheely Flats Spring Break

We had a lot of fun puttering around at wheely flats over spring break. Sierra and Makenzie enjoyed climbing the hills and posing for pictures. Drake was crazy and was climbing all the big hills on the 4 wheelers and Tyson was just about as crazy on his 4 wheeler. He wanted to go up all the big hills. Steve pushed him up a few and let him come back down. After awhile we decided he should probably have a helmet on. We would be walking along side of him on a trail and all of the sudden he would just bail off the side of the hill on 3 wheels. CRAZY. He is also potty training and so he decided he needed to go the bathroom and Steve caught him in action. He is doing well though.

SPRING TIME

It's spring time and we are loving the weather!!! We lost one of our big trees during the big wind storm and caused the storm in Lehi that Tracie and Dave were in. So we got 2 big trees and so Steve had to dig 2 BIG holes. Tyson and Makenzie had a lot of fun helping him and Makenzie even experienced a shovel full of dirt to the face. Tyson had no clue that he caused all this trauma. After getting dusted off back to work they went. We love spring time.

TOOTHLESS ANNIE

Sierra has lost her two front teeth. She was so excited and was very determined to pull
her teeth out on her own. Both of theses teeth were twisted out in school. Her second one was really loose and Dad wanted to get it out of there so the night before she pulled it out we tried and tried to get it out put it didn't work but she did get it out the next day at school. Now we have a toothless Annie that is what my dad always called us.

Drake's 9th Birthday

After a fun day of snowboarding Drake came home to open presents. He recieved so many nice gifts but I think he was the most surprised about his 22. Grandma made a banana cream pie while we were off snowboarding and so he had pie for dessert instead of cake. We love you Drake you are an awesome boy and a lot of fun in our family.

Snowboarding Sore Bum Fun

We were up for Shane and Carrie's wedding so we took Drake snowboarding for his birthday. We also talked everyone else into snowboarding so it was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. I think the only first timers were Sawyer and Drake and of course they picked it up fast. It was only my second time and that was 15 years ago. By the end of the day I think we had all picked up the carving part at least on the easiest runs. Sawyer was awarded the best crash award after doing about 5 flips in the air when he caught his edge and I think that was only the first or second run. I hit my tail bone really hard once and then my arms began to take the beating. Drake wanted to go home after 3 runs but then at the end wanted to keep going. Yes I was about the slowest one down the heal but I was always working on my form as you will see in one of the pictures. We were all very tired when we got home and we were all very thankful for the gondola ride down to the bottom instead of having to board all the way down.

Shane and Carrie's Wedding

Shane and Carrie's wedding was a lot of fun!! It is always fun to see the twinkle the newlywed's eyes. It was a little chilly but sunny. Poor Carrie I think froze to death. The nieces and nephews all were so excited and love to run around taking pictures and chasing the newlyweds. We are excited to add Shane to the family!! Thank you for being great examples to the kids and all of us. Congratulations you two and keep it strong.

Sawyer, Drake, Sierra & Makenzie were having a lot of fun playing on the plasma cars. Thank heavens they didn't break their heads open. They were having a lot of fun and scaring mom to death. They had a lot of fun.
