Sawyer Baseball All Stars

Sawyer played on the Senior league this summer. They played a lot of games and did well. Sawyer was their catcher and played third sometimes. He did an awesome job. Their tournament was in mid July and had evening games. His first game didn't even get over until 12:15 a.m. , Yes that is a.m. I couldn't believe it. They ended up not going to regionals but had a great time.

LAKE MEAD

It is always fun to go to the Lake and just relax, watch the kids play, laugh, get wet, and eat.

Sierra loves to BAKE

Sierra is always asking if she can make something and it is usually baking something. Her friends and her decided to make this beautiful cake. They have so much fun doing it and are pretty good and cleaning up their messes after they are done.

IGUANAS OH NO!!

Steve and the kids caught a couple big lizards before we headed out of town for a week and Steve told the kids that if they would let the lizards go he would get them Iguanas when we got back. So here are the kids preparing for the iguanas and after shopping and picking them out we came home with 2 iguanas.
Spike ( the boys) and Izzy (the girls). So far Izzy is sick and Izzy escaped but other than that it hasn't been to bad and the kids friends love to see them.

A Little Behind in my Blogging Here's the catch up!

Lagoon and Grandparents weekend!

Tyson and I were able to go to LAGOON with Steve, Lesa, Jake, Stevie, Natalie and Collin. It was so much fun even though it rained on us. We had a one on one ratio which made it nice and they were all wanting to go on the same rides. It was a lot of FUN. Thanks for the HOT DATE TYSON!!

The kiddos had a WONDERFUL time with G & G "D" for a few days! They always spoil the kids rotten and take them everywhere. This time they went to Cascade Springs, Temple Square, Alpine Slide, Kamas Pool, and i am not sure where else. I am sure the they are exhausted after having this crew with them running packing all they can in a few days!! It is a wonderful experience the kids have to have time with grandpa and grandma with out mom and dad!! Thanks DAD and MOM you are the best!!

Our Getaway

Steve and I had a wonderful time on our getaway. We decided to drive a little bit of the coast and enjoy the cooler weather. Our first stop was San Francisco. We spent two nights there. We walked the wharf and Steve especially loved watching all the sea lion at Pier 39. We rented a tandem bike and had a great time riding over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. Steve worked extra hard pedaling me around while I videoed and took pictures:) We laughed and had a great time riding down scary hills and then deciding not to ride the ferry back but to ride the bike back. It was so much fun for me at least. The views were amazing. The bridge was fogged in when we first went across but coming back it wasn't and it was worth all the hard pedaling. Right Stevo:) We then headed back through San Francisco and stopped by to see Lombard Street. It is the America's crookedest street and it is crazy to see. We then went to WICKED. It was a great show and Steve liked it too, although he couldn't remember much about the Wizard of Oz. The next morning we headed down the coast. We decided to stop in ???. We had a nap and then went to dinner overlooking the ocean and enjoyed every minute of it. The next day was quite chilly and we were really looking forward to a few days at the beach so we decided to drive until we found warmer weather. One of Steve's favorite stops was at a strawberry farm we saw on the way. We stopped to pick our own strawberries and loved it. STEVE and I enjoyed fresh strawberries the rest of the day as we stopped about every mile or so to take in the spectacular views of the ocean, houses built on cliffs, waterfalls, elephant seals, farms as far as the eye could see, crazy drop offs, and even some squirrel feedings. We had a great time and enjoyed doing what ever we wanted when ever we wanted and not being on a schedule. We stopped in Santa Cruz and enjoyed the most delicious Calamari out on the pier. It's the best I've tasted yet. It was a beautiful place there too. We ended up in Santa Barbara and found a great hotel at a great price right on the beach. We enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach, biked around, went to dinner and tested all the calamari but Santa Cruz still has our vote. We had such wonderful time and thank all our family for helping out with the kiddos. It was an amazing trip with an amazing man, the love of my life. Thanks for being the life of the party and for keeping me laughing. I love you!

Drake Graduates 5th Grade and Plays in All-stars

Drake was a big graduate of the 5th grade!! He had a great year with Mrs. Lawrence as his teacher and worked really hard to get all A's. He is such a great student and works hard to keep his grades up. Drake received the Presidential fitness award, graduated from D.A.R.E., and was voted most athletic in his class. Congratulations Drake we can't believe our little boy is going on to middle school.

Drake had a great time again playing on the All-Star baseball team. He loves it even though the get beat every game. He is sad when it is all over and I guess that is a good thing. He played great and we love watching him play. The weather this year was even okay and didn't scorch us.
