Christmas 2007
We hope you all had a great Christmas!! We started by enjoying Christmas Eve day with Steve at the fire station. They had a huge lunch for us. We had prime rib, ham, ravioli, salads and desserts. It was delicious. We watched a couple different times when they left to go on calls and just hung out for a few hours. Santa came to visit on the fire engine and gave all the kids a present and told them to be extra good for mom and go to sleep early. We were glad we went in and enjoyed that time with Dad because he couldn't be with us that night. We went home and went to Grandma and Grandpa Staheli's to go Christmas caroling and have dinner with the Applegates. (Steve's aunt and uncle). We had the only kids this year so it wasn't very crowded and we kept singing Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. We opened our cute matching pajamas that Grandma made and we read the Christmas story. Then it was time for bed. It was already 10:00 so I didn't get kids to sleep until almost 11. We had a very nice Christmas Eve day and night. Drake woke up about 6:15 and so we only had to wait 45 min until dad got home. We had to wake Makenzie up just before dad got home. Tyson found his truck and trailer from Santa and wanted to play with it right now. Makenzie got a dolly that eats, drinks, pees, and poops. Sierra got her mini sewing machine and made 2 pillows that day. Drake got a wave and a new bike and of course Madden 08. Steve got a laptop and I got clothes and a beautiful ring. Thank you everyone for your gifts to the kids and to us. We are so thankful to have a great family and to have the gospel in our lives to help us understand life and remind us to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas our Savior Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!!!

It was great to see everyone. Basketball was another hit of course. It is always fun to see the competitiveness come out of everyone. Thanks to Grandma for the gifts and for all you do for us. We love all of you and were so glad we could make it.

Stahlei Disneyland Trip
We had a great time in Disneyland with the whole Staheli family. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed beautiful weather. Our highlight of the trip was of course Stacey winning the big prize and allowing us to tag a long with her. We got to ride in the parade and have private meetings with Mickey, Winnie, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Eeyore, and others. We will attach other photos later when we get the other SD card.

Weekend with G & G "D" visiting
We were so excited to have G & G "D" down to visit us. Drake and Sierra had there last soccer game on Saturday. Sierra even played on Drake's team because his team only had 5 show up. She was pretty shy though. After the soccer games we got dressed up and went to the haunted shark reef in Vegas. We had a lot of fun watching all of the fish and getting treats as we walked through. It is the largest predator aquarium in the U.S. We went and visited dad at the fire station and then the kids talked us into Chuckie Cheese. We were all worn out after that day but not enough to not drive us crazy on the way home. We had a nice day at church and enjoyed sitting by both G & G's. It is great to have such wonderful family to love. Thanks for coming to visit!!!

First Day of School
Here's a few picture of the first day of school for everyone. Tyson is ready to go already and wants to go every day. Sierra was a little timid at her first morning muster but now it's nothing. Drake was too big to walk into school with mom and dad so he walked ahead of us. He loves 3rd grade. Makenzie loves to go to preschool and is having fun meeting new friends.
Fall Sports at the Staheli House
Drake and Sierra are playing soccer right now. They are having a great time and running their little hearts out. Steve's coaching Drake's team and I'm coaching Sierra's team. It keeps us plenty busy going to 5 games and 2 practices each week. Sawyer is playing football and loving it. The kids love to go a "watch" (play with their friends and buy candy). Steve and I are playing coed softball too so I guess we actually have 7 games and 2 practices a week. We have a good time and enjoy playing together. We'll have to have the kids take some pictures of us next time. The kids just come and watch and run around and play with friends again. It is nice to live somewhere where the kids aren't freezing to death right now at 9:00 o'clock at night!! HA HA!!

Hunting in Ely
We had a great time hunting in Ely. Steve and his dad had bow tags this year. It was nice and warm still and the kids had a lot of fun riding 4-wheelers, bikes, catching little critters including a snake, hunting and getting dirty. G & G Staheli were there and we enjoyed shooting potato guns at each other. Uncle Shane even came up for a few nights. Steve ended up getting a nice buck at about 85 yards but not as nice as the one he and Drake had at 88 yards a few days before but didn't want to shoot that far but then came home and nailed the target in the bulls eye. Next time Drake says he'll tell him to shoot. We love to camp and hunt.
