Makenzie's 7th Birthday
I can't believe my baby girl is 7!! She is a fun and keeps us on our toes. She had a little friend party and played water games and made barrettes. She wanted a flamingo cake too. She is free spirited and loves to be in the middle of everything. She is looking forward to summer and playing more with her friends. WE LOVE YOU BOOTS!!!
Baseball 2010
The kids all had a great year at baseball. Sawyer played on the Varsity baseball team and did a great job when he was playing. Drake moved on up to majors this year. There team didn't have a winning streak but Drake played great and gets better every year. Sierra played on a minor league fast pitch team. We had a young team but we came out with a winning record. Sierra had a great time mostly I think because she had a lot of friends on her team and mom helped coach. Makenzie moved up to coach pitch this year and did a great job. She didn't like it so much though because she was the only girl on her team. Now that the craziness of schedules are over we are so excited for summer. Great job kiddos!
Going to Visit Family
We headed up to northern Utah to attend Kylie's baptism and to visit everyone. We had a great time and enjoyed snow, rain and sunshine. Kylie's baptism was beautiful and the food was delicious. The kids had a wonderful time sleeping over at their cousins and also going to Lehi's rec center to swim. We headed to Heber on Sun afternoon. All the family came for dinner except of course for Dave and Tracie. Sierra said just to call them and tell them to come. They could be there by the time we got there. If it were only that easy huh Tracie. It was so nice for everyone to come and see us. It was a beautiful afternoon. We stayed until Monday and then headed back home.
Butterfly Fly Away
The kids had a great time watching the catepillar they caught form it's crysalis, hatch and then fly away! I remember loving to do this when I was young. After they let it go they chased it around and Steve got this great picture of it in a tree. It is so amazing how all that happens!

Fair 2010
It was another wonderful time at the fair. We had lots of family come too! The Houghs came Wednesday, my parents, the Staheli's, the Marshalls all on Thurs. night. We had a great time and enjoyed beautiful weather Thurs and Fri and then some fair wind on Sat and Sun. Drake did well again with Cadillac this year. He had to use his alternate and still did awesome. The judge told him he could "Come show his pigs any time" that was a great compliment to him. The girls had lots of fun with cousins and friends and Tyson loved the muttin bustin and did awesome.
Easter 2010
We had a beautiful Easter. We colored Easter eggs, had 3 egg hunts, and enjoyed Easter Sunday watching conference. Lots of fun, candy, and warm weather to enjoy.
Spring Break
We had a great time during spring break just relaxing. We took a few days and headed to Cedar City to go bowling, swimming, spend the night, and go skiing again. Steve and Drake also went to the Dodgers baseball game in Las Vegas. The kids had a great time bowling and Tyson was the big winner. He did better than all of us with the bumpers. Skiing was an adventure the first couple runs with out the edgie wedgie but then it was great. All the kids do so awesome and we look forward to next year to hit slopes other than the bunny hill. Can't wait until SUMMER!!
Drake went to SEA CAMP
Drake did a lot of extra school work to get to be able to go to SEA CAMP. A group of 5th graders and their teachers go to go to a camp in San Diego. They left at 2:00 a.m. Thurs morning and returned Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. They had a lot of fun. They were able to disect a squid, learn a lot about the ocean, boogie board, and kiss lots of sea creatures. Drakes teacher was a little worried about his kissing adventures. She said she thought I might need to watch him in the future. He had a great time and came home tired.

11 yr old Camp Out

Steve, Drake and I had a great time at the 11 yr old camp out. It was a lot of fun and I was glad I got to go too. The stake primary oversees it and makes the dinner and lunch for them. It is such and awesome program. The theme is "Becoming a Knight". The first night they had different stations where they learned about different things and tied everything into the scriptures. At one they talked about the Armor of God and tried on armor. Another was about becoming a knight and they jousted off a bike. Another was about the Banner of Righteousness. They learned about the flag, how to take care of it, symbols on it and then learned about Moroni's banner. They then watch a movie about the Armor of God and close with a speaker. It really is an amazing program. I got to go home to sleep and the boys endured a windy night. The tent help up though. The next day they did 5 different stations to help pass of merit badges. They then had a final battle. That is an awesome part. They do a little at each station again and then head to another group of stations where a lot of teamwork and thinking is required. It was a lot of fun to watch and the boys had a great time. Drake had a lot of fun with all his friends and his dad.
